What I would see

A quick exterior photo stop for Luxor’s pyramid and its replica Sphinx at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip.

Luxor describes its pyramid as a 30-story Las Vegas landmark.

The exterior scene pairs the pyramid with a replica Sphinx.

It sits at 3900 S Las Vegas Blvd, on the south end of the Strip.

How I’d do it

I start on the Las Vegas Boulevard side near the main entrance, take one wide Sphinx-and-pyramid frame, then keep moving along the Strip. This is Vegas doing ancient Egypt at maximum volume—one strong photo earns its place in the itinerary.

Keep it practical

Start on the Las Vegas Boulevard side by the main entrance/valet; it keeps the framing and wayfinding simple.

Take one wide shot with both icons, then a closer Sphinx portrait; the pair tells the story faster than wandering into the resort.

Keep this as an exterior stop unless you already have another Luxor plan; on-property exhibits and entertainment are separately ticketed.

What I would pair it with

I pair this with Excalibur and New York-New York as a south-Strip photo sequence; it is compact enough to stay flexible.
